6 HOURS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE

Things to consider

  • Your ceremony and reception are in the same location
  • You don’t want getting ready photos or details
  • You don’t have a special reception exit and don’t want dancing photos

Depending on your day and what you want, this might not always cover all the reception events. I only recommend this amount of hours if you don’t want details and getting ready photos, your ceremony and reception are in the same location and you want all your photos at the same venue. This can be tight but if you're having a very simple wedding, this might be the best option for you!

6 hours of wedding day coverage typically covers:

  • The ceremony
  • Family photos at the ceremony site
  • Bride & Groom and wedding party photos at ceremony or reception site
  • Reception Events (Speeches, First dances, Cake cutting)

8 HOURS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE

MOST POPULAR!

Things to consider

  • Your ceremony and reception are in different locations
  • You want to do a first look
  • You want details and getting ready photos
  • You don’t want dancing photos at reception

Again, it depends on what you want for the day, how far apart your locations are and if you have lots of places you would like to take photos at that isn’t your venue. Details are an option with end of getting ready, bride getting dressed and jewelry on. If both the bridesmaids and groomsmen are at the same location, getting ready for both is possible while other times I don’t have enough time with 8 hours. It just depends on your priorities. Do you want more details and getting ready photos or would you rather have more reception photos? That’s totally up to you!

8 hours of wedding day coverage typically covers:

  • 30 minutes of details (dress, shoes, jewelry, flowers, etc)
  • Getting ready photos of both if same location
  • A first look (if you’re doing one)
  • Bride & Groom and wedding party photos at ceremony or reception site, and possibly one other location
  • Reception events (Speeches, First dances, Cake cutting, etc)

10 HOURS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE

Things to consider

  • You want details and getting ready photos of both bridesmaids and groomsman
  • Your ceremony and reception are in different locations
  • You want to do a first look
  • You want dancing photos at reception
  • You have a send off at reception

10 hours is great for couples who want the majority of the day captured. I also recommend this package to couples who don’t want to stress about their time or if something runs behind (like hair and makeup). This option allows more time for details and getting ready photos. It also allows more time at the reception for all events, guest dancing and (sometimes) your grand exit. If you have want to do a receiving line or go table to table to greet guest this allows time for that. Some couples like to do a party bus and drive around for photos and this package would be best for this.

10 hours of wedding day coverage typically covers:

  • Details (dress, shoes, jewelry, flowers, stationary, etc)
  • Getting ready photos of both with different location
  • A first look (if you’re doing one)
  • Ceremony and family photos
  • Bride & Groom and wedding party photos at ceremony or reception site, and one other location
  • Reception events (Speeches, First dances, Cake cutting, etc)
  • Lots of dancing photos
  • Special send off
